My name is Samantha Hanson.  I started working at AFCCC in October 2012.  This is my first professional childcare setting but I have many years experience with children in a homecare setting.  I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Psychology.  I very much enjoy reading, as it is one of my favorite hobbies.  I also love to draw, paint, exercise, and be with my friends and family.  In the future I want to go back to school to earn a master's degree which would allow me to counsel adolescents and teenagers.   I chose the child care profession because I wanted to observe and assist in children's development of cognitive, emotional, social, motor and personal skills.  I also joined becuase I love kids and want to help them grow. :)
