Altoona Family Child Care Center provides an educational program based on creative curriculum that is
developmentally appropriate for children ages 4 weeks through 13 years.

Altoona Family Classrooms
The center is equipped with 9 classrooms:

Lullaby Room: 4 weeks-12 months
Pond Room: 4 months-18 months
Zoo Room: 8 months-18 months
Forest Room: 12 months-24 months
Jungle Room: 2 years-2 1/2 years
Circus Room:2 1/2 years- 3 years
Amazon Room: 3 years- 4 years
Underwater Room: 3 years- 4 years
Rainforest Room: 3 years-13 years

Altoona Family Kids Club Classrooms
The center is equipped with 2 classrooms:

Jungle Room: 3 years- 12 years
Rainforest Room: 3 years-12 years

Each member of the staff is honored to provide a variety of developmentally
appropriate activities for their class based on age and ability.
Each teacher is also responsible for their own weekly lesson plans, weekly communication
notes to parents, bulletin boards, art projects and curriculum planning.
