Infant- Toddler Program
Infants will have a flexible schedule which reflects the child's individual needs. They will be given individual attention including lots of time for talking. The body position of non-mobile infants and their location in the center will be changed frequently. We will provide safe, open spaces for children who are creeping and crawling. Infants will be encouraged to play with a wide variety of safe toys and objects.
Toddlers will also have a flexible schedule that reflects the child's individual needs. They will be given attention on an individual as well as a group basis. Communication skills will be frequently encouraged and practiced. Toddlers will be given a safe place to experiment through play and provided with age appropriate materials.
Preschool Program Includes
Our preschool programs offers many aspects of a Kindergarten program offered in school districts. We will work with your child in the following areas:
School-age Program
School age programming is also available at Altoona Family Kids Club. If room allows, we will accept school age children before and after school, school closings, and summer months as well as times that children are scheduled for virtual learning. Our school age program is for children 5 through 13 years. We offer homework assistance time as well as outdoor and indoor activities.
